¿Escuchaste?

I went outside today a bit earlier so I could catch some light in this cloudy wonderful day, I went looking for the missing piece of my stone pipe. It got chipped the day I skated like a mad kid for the first time and went straight to the steepest slope available near by.
Salí hoy un poco más temprano para poder alcanzar algo de luz en este maravilloso día nublado, fui buscando la pieza faltante de mi pipa de piedra. Se astilló el día que patiné como un niño demente por primera vez y me fui directo a la rampa más inclinada disponible cerca.

I was not sure about going because some days had already passed since the incident and the rain had probably swept the piece away. But I remembered when we were kids we didn't mind and we took the chances, even if the object was not found the worst that could happen was to spend a few minutes contemplating how nature and artificial devices meet.
No estaba seguro sobre ir porque algunos días habían pasado ya desde el incidente y la lluvia probablemente había barrido el pedazo como sea. Pero recordé que cuando éramos plebes no nos importaba y le dejábamos a la suerte, incluso si el objeto no era encontrado lo peor que podía pasar era gastar unos minutos contemplando cómo convergen la naturaleza y los artefactos artificiales.

So I went up and tried to figure out where exactly I had fallen, where exactly I had picked my pipe and lighter from, and tried to calculate the possible trajectories of the missing piece. Cars passed by, some of them waving hello, some neighbors are starting to find out about me, I'm glad.
Así que subí allá y traté de resolver dónde exactamente me había caído, de dónde exactamente había levantado mi pipa y encendedor, y traté de calcular las posibles trayectorias del pedazo faltante. Carros pasaban, algunos saludaban, algunos vecinos están comenzando a enterarse de mí, me da gusto.

I found some roughed up and splintered pieces that could have possibly been from the original cuneiform bit, felt a bit like an investigator and it seemed pointlessly fun, but then I found this:

I picked it up and the woman looking for a missing kid from a couple of days before (↯) made an appearance; shouted hello from the other side of the street, her face looking happy and beautifully illuminated and her child looking healthy, I crossed the street to listen to what she was saying, she just wanted to say thanks.
Lo levanté y la mujer que buscaba a un plebe perdido hace un par de días (↯) hizo una aparición; gritó saludando desde el otro lado de la calle, su cara lucía feliz y bellamente iluminada y su crío lucía saludable, crucé la calle para escuchar lo que estaba diciendo, ella solo quería decir gracias.

Maribel was looking at me with a slight brush of admiration and I remembered how people looked at me when I tamed a bully at the school yard.
   That event might have gotten something to do with what was going on, I already had the little shoe in my hand, the experience helped me understand what I saw next and what was whispered by the wind.
Maribel me miraba con un ligero brochazo de admiración y recordé cómo me miraba la gente cuando apacigüé a un bravucón en el patio de la escuela.
   Ese evento podría haber tenido algo que ver con lo que estaba pasando, yo ya tenía el pequeño zapato en mi mano, esa experiencia me ayudó a entender lo que vi después y lo que me susurraba el viento.

After searching a bit more for the piece of my pipe and meditating about all past and future events, I started to write in the wind through time, just like I do sometimes during Ifrit-Chi-Do ũ_ũ (⇨)

I was in a trance, these are not the real scenes, I wasn't carrying my cellphone camera, I recorded this recreation afterwards, I didn't even have any pockets, which makes me remember I'll add some further recommendations for the 'Angel de la guarda' ritual game; the mission to earn Samael type & quality wings for all of us.
