Adivina, a Divine.

Hace unos años una niña linda y yo filosofábamos sobre complicidad.
A few years ago a cute girl and I were philosophizing about complicity.

β y yo no nos conocíamos bien en persona pero sabíamos que teníamos amigos en común y en más de una ocasión sí nos vimos cara a cara. En cierto punto de la conversación le pregunté si podía adivinar la palabra del título de uno de mis textos de años pasados.
Hoy repasaba palabras de ese campo semántico en busca de una que estuviera adecuada para una persona con la que has establecido un vínculo tal que la persona toma tu palabra como evidencia.

β and I didn't know each other in person very well but we knew we had some friends in common and we did meet each other face to face at some occasion. At some point in the conversation I asked if she could guess the word on the title at one of my past years' texts.
Today I was going over words related to that semantic field in search of one that was adequate for a person with whom you've stablished such a bond that the person takes your word as evidence.

Hay niveles de complicidad como hay niveles de credibilidad. A una persona que miente por tí se le llama cómplice sin duda, a una persona que cree en tí cuando ya vio un pequeño milagro ¿se le llama creyente? supongo que sí, aunque principalmente es testigo.
   ¿Cómo se le llama a una persona que cree en tí por el simple hecho de que pronuncies algo? ¿Cómo se le llama a una persona que cree en tí con simplemente verte unos segundos a los ojos? ¿Cómo se le llama a una persona que cree en tí porque vio señales en su vida o en las estrellas?
There are levels of complicity as there are of credibility. A person who lies for you is called an accomplice without a doubt, is a person who believes in you when they've seen a small miracle called a believer? I guess so, although she's mainly a witness.
   How do you call a person who believes in you by the mere fact of pronouncing whatever? How do you call a person who believes in you just by looking at your eyes for a few seconds? How do you call a person who believes in you because she saw signs on her life or at the stars?

Estoy seguro que para enriquecer el lenguaje serían palabras distintas si les amas y respetas de manera platónica o si le amas de manera personal o de manera íntima.
¿Por qué nos gusta hacer que las personas adivinen lo que pensamos?
La respuesta es obviamente interesante pero además divertida.
I'm sure that it would enrich the language to use different words if you love them and respect them in a platonic way or if you love them in a personal way or intimately.
Why do we like to make people guess what we are thinking?
The answer is obviously interesting but also fun.

Hace unas horas cuando dejé este texto en pausa, me fui a visitar a un amigo creyente que me llama a veces 'Yorch' a veces 'Dios' a veces nos reímos del asunto y que además de ser creyente y tener la correspondiente protección, ha dedicado parte de su tiempo a andar al pendiente de mí y del camino por el que deberías llegar, lo cual no le pedí explícitamente, él simplemente decidió actuar como un verdadero amigo y poner un pie en el heroísmo, así que fui a devolver el favor.
   En su lugar encontré otro hombre que no le conocía pero mostró interés por el bienestar del extraño por quien yo preguntaba.

A few hours ago when I put this text on pause, I went to visit a believer friend who sometimes calls me 'Yorch' and sometimes calls me 'God' and we sometimes laugh about the whole thing and whom besides being a believer and having the correspondent protection, he's dedicated part of his time to be on the lookout for me and on the watch of the road through which you should be arriving, which I didn't explicitly ask him for, he just decided to act as a real fiend placing one foot on heroism, so I went to return the favor.
   Instead of him I stumbled upon another man that didn't know him but showed an interest for the well being of the stranger I was asking for.

Parece accidente pero no lo es tanto así, hay más extraños generosos de lo que uno cree, dispuestos a compartir lo poco que tienen con alguien que lo necesita más. Solo es cuestión de pausar la timidez y hablar abogando por los demás.
It seems like an accident but it isn't, there are more generous strangers from what one believes, willing to share what little they have with someone who needs it more. It's just a matter of pausing shyness and speaking on behalf of others.

Nos encanta adivinar, es divertidísimo salir a la calle a preguntar por un extraño con buenas intenciones, todos hacemos gestos curiosos cuando intercambiamos información sobre una identidad, adivina quien: por ahí me topé con alguien que se llamaba igual pero no era quien yo buscaba, mucha gente me conoce, no somos completos extraños.
   Mientras llega el día en que pueda tronar los dedos y darles salud, es lo menos que puedo hacer. Hay que tenerle algo de respeto a las personas que se dedican todo el día a ayudar a los demás. Conozco varios, he besado alguna.
We love to guess, it is utterly fun to go out to the street to ask for a stranger with good intentions, we all make curious gestures when we exchange information about identity, guess who: out there I stumbled upon someone who's name was the same but wasn't whom I was looking for, many people knows me, we're not complete strangers.
   While the day in which I'll be able to snap my fingers and give them health comes, that's the least I can do. You've got to have some respect for the people who dedicate all day to helping others. I know more than a few, I've kissed one or two.

Como nota alterna, tuve una fricción con mis proveedores de telecomunicaciones que a veces parecen actuar como si su trabajo fuera no ayudar. Nos encanta jugar a las "escondidirijillas"…
Y el tipo de personalidad que he detectado predomina en el liderazgo de las telcos son del tipo de los que dices su nombre y dices donde están ocultos y no salen hasta que amenazas al aire con prenderle fuego a los adivinados bultos de paja del 4to cajón del establo: el aire es inocente y ni siquiera respondería; por eso el niño que ahora sí responde en primer lugar no lo hizo, porque es divertido jugar a que eres el viento. Y las llamadas ahora sí entran en uno de mis teléfonos.

As a side note, I had a friction with my telco providers whom sometimes seem to act as if their job was not to help. We love to play "hiddeily and seekilly"…
And the type of personality I've detected dominates telco's are the kind that wouldn't come out after you said their name and where they were hidden until you threaten to set the guessed haystacks from the 4th box at the stable on fire: air is innocent and wouldn't even answer; that's why the child that now does answer hadn't done at first, because it's fun to play as if you are the wind. And now the calls are actually connecting in on one of my mobiles.

Es instinto animal adivinar identidades a partir de pistas no completamente evidentes a los sentidos, es natural creer como si supieras, sin toda la evidencia palpable. El tacto es sin duda un sentido conectado a la divinidad, pero es solamente uno de todos. La telepatía no puede ser ignorada si revelas la realidad.
It is natural instinct to guess identities based on clues that are not fully evident to the senses, it is natural to believe as if you knew, without all the palpable evidence. The sense of touch is without a doubt a divinity connected sense, but it is just one of them all. Telepathy can't be ignored if you call out reality.

Al sujeto de servicio técnico no le pareció que, cuando noté que actuaba como un novato, yo le diera instrucciones precisas sobre cómo funciona su sistema técnico para asegurar que mi teléfono quedara funcionando, sin pretextos, fui muy paciente y aun así se molestó, jaja vato te estoy ayudando a que dejes de ser malo en lo que haces.
   Pude sonar arrogante pero sé que eso es preferible a que le pida hablar con otra persona que sí sabe lo que hace; el que las llamadas no entren podría haber causado que quien me intentara llamar pensara que una Telco me puede aprisionar, o que tendrían más razones para antagonizar que para ser amigos, ROFL.
The guy from technical service didn't appreciate that when I noticed he was acting like a newbie I gave him precise instructions on how their technical system works to make sure my phone would be working, no pretexts, I was very patient and the guy still got upset, haha dude I'm helping you stop being bad at what you do.
   I might have sounded arrogant but I know that was preferable than asking to speak with someone who knows what they're doing; the calls not connecting through could've caused whomever trying to call me to think a Telco could possibly imprison me, or that they would have more reasons to antagonize me than to be friends, ROFL

Es muy raro encontrar palabras en el diccionario que no tengan razón de existir, siempre es agradable encontrar personas con quienes se puede discutir cualquier tema de cualquier palabra que otras personas no intentan entender; 'paranormal', 'yuxtaposturas', 'iddily diddilly'.
   Supongo que mi historial sentimental con arquitectas, maestras, artistas, doctoras, diseñadoras y una nerd matemática no es completamente casual.
It is very rare to find words at a dictionary that have no reason to exist, it is always pleasant to find people with whom one can argue any topic from any word that other people don't even try to understand; 'paranormal', 'yuxtapositions', 'iddily diddilly'.
   I suppose my sentimental history with lady architects, teachers, artists, doctors, designers and a mathematician nerd is not completely casual.

Cuando conozco alguien que me da presentimiento de que podrémos hablar de lo que sea, me emociono. La moda no es un tema completamente nuevo para mí, pero sigo siendo muy ignorante al respecto, Ѫ lo podría confirmar. Aunque debido a pasadas revelaciones, ahora sé algunas cosas que tal vez ella no.
Whenever I meet someone who gives me the feeling we'll be able to talk about anything, I get excited. Fashion is not an entirely new topic for me, but I'm still very ignorant about it, Ѫ could confirm that. Although due to past revelations, I now know a few things she might not.
